Things Aren't Always What They Seem

Permalink 06:40:31 am, Categories: Neck

Doctors are not God.

We would all like to think so, but it just isn't true.

God is God. Doctors are people just like you.

Don't think that your doctor has all the answers in this day and age. (They really never did, but it was easier to make folks think along those lines in "the good 'ol days!")

It is extremely important, when it comes to taking care of your physical body, that you minimize screwups.

Surgery can be a major screwup.

You will live with the results for the rest of your natural life and, unfortunately, your body will have to try to adapt to the unnatural and imposed changes.

Many post operative cases begin to have other problems (due to scar tissue or adaptive changes to adjacent joints) about five years after the surgery.

Always do non-invasive stuff when possible, especially if the non-invasive procedure has a high success rate.

IDD Therapy is 86 to 94% successful for the treatment of disc herniation and severe neck and low back problems.

You can always get cut on later; after really trying everything else!

No Needles, No Drugs, No Cutting

Permalink 06:28:50 am, Categories: Neck

I am so thankful to be part of something so wonderful.

On a daily basis I treat patients who, if it were not for IDD Therapy, would be destined to surgery.

Fact is, surgery is a very invasive procedure that has the potential to cause very bad problems after reducing pain for the short term.

IDD Therapy is completely non-invasive.

It is a fix.

Herniated and bulged discs are treated in a way that causes no harmful side effects.

Most patients see a distinct positive change within six visits.

86 to 95% of patients get well, without drugs, needles or surgery, over the normal course of therapy.

Please understand, IDD Therapy allows the body to actually "heal."

A completely healed disc won't cause problems down the road.

Drugs and needles "cover" problems that will need to be dealt with at a later time. Surgery will sometimes temporarily eliminate pain while leaving the door wide open to the same issues (or worse) when scar tissue develops.

Tell the world and have a great day!

Talk To Those Who Have Done It

Permalink 06:41:02 am, Categories: Neck

Considering surgery to correct a back or neck problem?

Talk to folks who have experienced the particular procedure that you are thinking about.

Then talk to folks who have undergone surgery and have lived with the results for at least five years.

You will, most likely, be amazed that anyone would elect to go there.

Last resort? No other option?

Not true.

Just because orthopedic surgeons don't know (or care to find out) about alternative, conservative procedures certainly doesn't mean there aren't any!

IDD Therapy is extremely successful for the treatment of severe neck and low back conditions.

Go To The Grocery Store for Groceries

Permalink 08:25:02 pm, Categories: Posts

When you go to a grocery store, what do you think you will come out with?

It won't be furniture or a new car.

Why?

Because they don't have furniture or cars to sell.

Go to an orthopedic surgeon for help with a severe back problem and you won't come away with a recommendation for IDD Therapy.

Why?

Because they don't have it (or even know about it). The surgeon will call IDD Therapy "traction."

Then you will walk out of his office with a surgery appointment.

If you or someone you care about is considering surgery, try IDD Therapy first. You can always get cut on later.

Gone For Awhile

Permalink 06:35:32 am, Categories: Posts

I have been gone for awhile.

I was in a little place called, "Southport" in North Carolina.

The vacation was wonderful, but now I'm back.

Why am I telling you all this?

I still existed whether I was here or in Southport; whether I was there or here.

Just like chronic back conditions.

You can bet your sweet bipee that the problem exists whether your symptoms are here or there; present or not.

Our bodies "hide" symptoms. It is just the way we were designed (not evolved).

So... if you experience the same symptoms periodically, it means you have a problem, all the time, even if you only feel it once in a while.

Understand?
